Hello! My name is Amyjayne Watson, I live with my husband, Iain in our home in Cranwell, Lincolnshire. I am Ofsted registered to care for 6 Children. 3 of which can be under 5 years old (one under 1) and 3 between the ages of 5 and 8. I am also registered with the National Childminding Association. I have public liability insurance also. I previously worked for 3 and a half years as a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant in Hull caring for children with Special Educational Needs. I left my job to move to Cranwell but I knew that I still wanted to pursue a career in childcare and childminding was a great choice for me. I enjoy working with children and I am dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential. I believe it is very important for me to continue to develop professionally in order to continue to provide the best care possible and improve my practice. I will always continue to develop my skills by attending suitable courses. Below is a list of qualifications and/or courses I have attended: •1 Day Emergency First Aid •Paediatric First Aid course •Safeguarding Children •I am currently working towards my Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools. •Understand how to set up a childcare business - Childminder pre-registration training My overall aim is to provide the best care possible to children ensuring they are safe, secure, stimulated, comfortable and happy at all times. I aim to help children develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually by providing age appropriate toys and equipment and age/stage appropriate activities. I provide a normal daily routine in keeping with the type of routine they would have with their parents such as visits to the park and local shop, walks and attendance of toddler groups or school as well as stimulating activities and games within my home.
