Sample Menu

Your child needs a healthy balanced diet and therefore it is important to me that I provide nutritional and healthy food whilst your child is in my care. An example of some of the food on offer at Ladybirds is listed below. You may wish to provide a packed lunch for your child instead and I will be more than happy to discuss healthy options with you.

Breakfast
Cereal e.g. weetabix, coco pops, cornflakes or porridge.
Toast with jam or marmalade
Toasted tea cake
Scrambled/poached/boiled egg with toast
Crumpets
Fruit Salad

Lunch
Sandwiches on brown/white bread with a choice of ham, cheese, tuna or salad filling.
Beans or spaghetti hoops on toast
Half a jacket potato with cheese, tuna or beans.
Crackers with cheese and fruit

Tea
Homemade Lasagne, Homemade cottage pie, Sausages,
Roast chicken, Beef/chicken casserole, Fish cake
(all served with vegetables and mashed, boiled or roast potatoes)

Pasta with tomato sauce and roasted vegetables
Homemade macaroni cheese with vegetables
Homemade pizza and chips with salad
Spaghetti Bolognaise

Snacks
Fruit
Vegetable Sticks
Yogurt
Biscuits
Occasional Homemade cakes/buns

Drinks

(Drinks are available all day)
Milk
Water
Sugar free squash (orange or blackcurrant)
